SmartPutt Sports joins hands with Applied Technology College of Soochow University to create "the first Chinese Minigolf Academy"
In October 2019, SmartPutt Sports and Applied Technology College of Soochow University jointly established the "Chinese Mini Golf Academy" to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation, promote the popularization of Minigolf in Chinese schools, and conduct basic theoretical research and related research on Minigolf, come up with database construction, compilation of school-based textbooks, making Minigolf a long-term after-school sports activity carried out by characteristic schools. At the same time, a "China•Minigolf Practice Base" was set up to organize study tours and exchanges for fans from all over the world, and to train and deliver outstanding talents (athletes, coaches, referees, etc.) for Chinese Minigolf.
Applied Technology College of Soochow University (Applied Technology College of Soochow University, formerly known as Soochow University Vocational and Technical College) was established in 1997 and is a secondary college of Soochow University. In January 2002, the original public secondary college was changed to a public private secondary college. In November 2003, the college was officially renamed the College of Applied Technology of Soochow University.
In May 2005, in accordance with the spirit of the 2003 (8) document issued by the Ministry of Education, Soochow University applied for the establishment of an independent college, an undergraduate secondary college under a new mechanism and a new model approved by the Ministry of Education.
Applied Technology College of Soochow University is located 2 kilometers northwest of the tourist area of Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, Kunshan, the first water town in China. It covers an area of 400 acres and has a total investment of about RMB 200 million. The campus is spacious and beautiful, with a beautiful environment, fresh air, and first-class facilities.
