Concrete lanes are made of concrete and surrounded by steel, which requires a larger area than the felt lanes. The concrete lanes are 10 to 12 meters long and up to 20 to 25 meters. Although the construction costs are high, Concrete lanes are attractive to players, which is usually run by some of the larger minigolf clubs.

     Concrete lanes were founded in the 1850s by Paul Bogni from Switzerland. Therefore, the concrete lanes are mainly located in Switzerland, Austria and southern Germany, but you can also find the concrete lanes throughout Europe.

       There are only 18 styles on concrete lanes, so at every concrete, the style and number of the lanes are exactly the same. Only standard size of the minigolf lanes and obstacles can be approved by the Chinese Minigolf Promotion Committee as concrete.

       A reminder for concrete lanes: When playing the minigolf ball, players are allowed to stand on the concrete lanes to hit the ball, but do not walk on the lanes.
