In order to speed up the domestication of Minigolf equipment and venue facilities in China, the Secretariat, the Sports and Competition Committee, and the Technology and Training Committee have worked with several domestic precision machinery, new materials, plastic chemicals, Internet software, and IOT technology companies on this issue. The localization of sports equipment has been in-depth discussion and research. A draft plan has made for the national standards of clubs and venue facilities according to what the WMF initially drawn up based on China's specific conditions.

China is still in the early stage of popularization of Minigolf Sports. Regarding the standard use of Minigolf balls, we have formulated our own standards in terms of the diameter, roundness, hardness, elasticity, quality, roughness, material, etc. of the ball, on the basis of conforming to the international standards. The use of the Minigolf balls will be controlled within 10 in number. While In terms of club standards, the club’s length, weight, and head sag will be re-established to suit Chinese and Asian standards.

The design of the fairway takes into account the characteristics of the sport’s coverage of all ages, and the safety of children and the elderly. We formulates suitable venue standards in China, as well as a variety of styles and specifications for recreational fairways.
