On June 5th, an inspection team composed of leaders of Xi’an Greater Xi’an (Xianyang) Cultural and Sports Functional Zone Development and Construction Management Committee, Xi’an Economic Development and Investment Service Bureau, Xi’an Planning and Construction Bureau and other leaders, visited Invengo Valley Minigolf International Stadium, Mr. Li Zhiping, Deputy Director of the Committee (Chinese Minigolf Promotion Committee) and relevant staff of the Secretariat attended the reception.

After field trips to the stadium, the two sides got to have some further exchanges.

Zhang Yongqiang, Director of the Development and Construction Management Committee of the Xi’an (Xianyang) Cultural and Sports Functional Zone, said: “The Minigolf program has a very good entry point. It is a sport that can be played nationally and internationally for almost all ages. I hope to bring in such fashionable and novel leisure sports for Xi’an citizens. The implementation of IOT technology in the Minigolf Program can also be extended to the operation of other public sports facilities, it can help solve the difficult maintenance of public facilities in most places with technology.”.

Pei Jiang, deputy director of Xi’an Economic Development and Investment Promotion Service Bureau, said after experiencing the Minigolf: “The sport has great potential, it requires flexible location, with low threshold. It is also suitable for all ages. Minigolf Sports can be possibly introduced as part of Xi’an public facilities. It can make a very good national fitness exercise."

Mr. Li Zhiping, Deputy Director of the CMPC, said: “I am willing to agree on a time for further consultations between the two parties. I wish the two parties reach cooperation as soon as possible and contribute to the promotion of national fitness work and the development of Minigolf.”

The progress of Minigolf Sports is bright. With the joint efforts of both parties, Xi'an citizens can experience this novel and fashionable sports soon.
