The Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai Minigolf Sports Coach Experience Tournament was held at Invengo Minigolf International Stadium on June 15, 2020. Nearly 40 Minigolf coaches from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai participated in the competition.

Although the weather on the day of the event wasn’t of a good help, the coaches were still very enthusiastic about it. Several coaches could not help but to just hit it in the rain.

The referee team had to change the field of the first round of the game to the Concrete lanes with canopy.

Concrete fairway is believed as the most widely recognized fairway for Minigolf tournaments in the world. The fairway is mainly composed of fiber cement boards. These fairways can be seen everywhere in many major cities and resorts in the world. Many coaches participating in the game were surprised to find that even though the lane is short, it can be very difficult to score.

Fortunately, after a short break at the end of the first round, the rain gradually stopped.

So the second round of the game continued on the Felt Fairway.

The Felt Fairway is one of the official venues of the 16th Minigolf World Championship. The surface of the fairway is felt, supplemented by stainless steel alloy edges. This kind of fairway is more difficult, because the length of these fairways is much longer than the Concrete Fairways. There are higher requirements on the angle and strength of the player's shot.

After exchange experience of the game, a large number of coaches said that this sport is very fun and suitable for family gatherings and company team-buildings. This sport is a good challenge of batting skills and is worth the effort regarding professional techniques. Others said that they are very optimistic about the development of this movement nationwide, because its shortcomings are few and it is easier to popularize the sports.

This Experience Tournament is just the beginning. The promotion of Minigolf Sports in China continues to develop. Invengo Minigolf International Stadium will also host more competitions to boost development. Minigolf is really fun and original. More and more people will fall in love with it after experiencing it for themselves.
